MGU CAT Result 2017 MG University CAT Result 2017 @ cat.mgu.ac.in, MGU CAT Rank list 2017, MGU Common Admission Test for PG Programs 2017, Mahatma Gandhi University Common Admission Test Result 2017, MGU CAT Answer Key 2017, MGU CAT Cut of Marks 2017. The admissions based on CAT- MGU will be through a Centralized allotment Process. There will be separate Entrance Tests for the various academic programmes offered in the different Schools of the University. The candidates need to register only one application (online) for opting a maximum of 4 academic programmes/cluster of programmes based on their eligibility. A cluster of academic programmes to which admissions are made based on the same Entrance Test will be reckoned as a single option. The candidate has to mark his/ her preference for the different specialisations within the cluster at the time of online registration. In such cases also there will be separate rank lists for the different specialized programmes within the cluster based on the score in the Entrance Test and the preference marked by the candidate at the time of registration. If a candidate submits more than one application in CAT- MGU his/her candidature is liable to be cancelled. It is a simple and transparent process of allotment which gives the candidate opportunity to exercise the options of his/her choice conveniently in the order of preference. The allotments will be strictly based on the options exercised, the rank obtained and eligible reservations of the candidate.

Mahatma Gandhi University Common Admission Test 2017

Mahatma Gandhi University is one of the affiliating Universities of Kerala, situated in the Central Kerala District of Kottayam. Applications are invited for Mahatma Gandhi University Common Admission Test (CAT-MGU 2017-17) for admissions to the Post Graduate programmes in the Statutory Teaching Departments and Inter School Centre of the University. Eligibility Criteria for MGU CAT 2017

The general eligibility for applying to MGU CAT is that a candidate must possess an undergraduate degree in a relevant stream. The detailed eligibility for each course is given below:

M.Sc. Environment Science and Management 1. A candidate must have a B.Sc. Degree in any of the Optional subjects (Botany/ Zoology/Chemistry/ Physics/ Geology/ Geography/Life Science/ Environment Science/ Environment Management/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Plant or Animal Science/ Agriculture/ Fisheries/ Aquaculture/ Horticulture/ Forestry/ B.Tech. in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental or equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in Part III.

CAT-MGU Admit Card 2017

Admit Cards will be available for candidates to download on the official website,www.cat.mgu.ac.in from 13th May onwards. Candidates must take a printout of their admit card for future use.Entry in examination hall will only be allowed with the admit card.

 MGU CAT Exam Pattern

  • There will be objective type multiple-choice questions for all programmes except for those in School of Letters, School of Tourism Studies, and School of Indian Legal Thought for which both multiple choice questions and descriptive type questions will be asked.
  • The duration of test will be 90 minutes for all the programmes.
